Market Data Methodology

CoinHunt is a comparison utility, not a page-generation system. A coin URL is indexable only when its market module has enough independently sourced, current observations to be useful.

Publication gate

A leaf page requires at least three live prices, five auction comparisons, two working market links, and a confidence score of at least 60. Pages below the threshold are noindex and excluded from sitemaps.

Normalization and validation

Incoming records map to a canonical identity made from series, year, mint mark, variety, designation, and grade. Stale records, currency mismatches, suspicious outliers, grade-price inversions, and unrelated melt listings are quarantined.

Freshness and licensing

Each source follows its own refresh and retention policy. Stale values are not represented as current, and source licensing and attribution requirements control display behavior.
